  1. COURSES

1.1 If a student arrives to class 15 minutes late, they will not be allowed to enter the class. This measure is taken to avoid disruptions during the session and to respect the time of other students present.

1.2 Courses are contracted directly with 2Day Languages. The school does not guarantee specific teachers, classrooms, or schedules, and reserves the right to make necessary changes in planning.

1.3 All reservations made online are subject to confirmation via email.

1.4 One hour of class lasts 50 minutes, except for extensive courses where one hour of class lasts 45 minutes.

1.5 The intensive course has morning and afternoon schedules. 2Day Languages places students in the group that best suits their level. Class schedules are subject to change. Scheduling preferences should be communicated when booking, but their assignment is not guaranteed.

1.6 If a student’s Spanish level is inadequate for the reserved course, 2Day Languages reserves the right to move the student to a more appropriate course.

1.7 Group class schedules can only be changed if notified in writing (to the email info@2daylanguages.com) before Wednesday at 12 noon of the week before the week to be canceled. For intensive courses, the entire week must be canceled; individual days cannot be canceled.

1.8 Afternoon class schedules and individual classes can only be changed if notified in writing (to the email info@2daylanguages.com) 24 hours (or at least one business day) before the class.

1.9 In case of non-attendance or if the student does not connect online for a scheduled private class, the teacher will wait 20 minutes of the scheduled duration of the class. If the student does not show up or connect within this period, the class will be considered lost, and no refunds or rescheduling will be provided.

1.10 Travel expenses, meals and drinks, exam fees, and third-party entrance fees (museums, etc.) are not included in the price.

1.11 In the exceptional case that only one student is enrolled in a course of a certain level, the number of classes will be reduced to 40% of what is established, and 80% if there are two students.

1.12 The afternoon Spanish course groups have a maximum of 10 students.

1.13 If a student comes to 2Day Languages through an agent, their terms and conditions may also apply; 2Day Languages reserves the right to apply its own terms.

  1. HOLIDAYS

2Day Languages is closed on holidays and school vacation days marked on the annual calendar. You can consult it here. All classes are fully recovered, either by extending the course or attending a replacement class of the same level as recommended by 2Day Languages. No refunds will be given if the student cannot attend the replacement classes.

  1. ACCOMMODATION

3.1 Accommodation is reserved from the Sunday before the course starts until the Saturday after the course ends. Note that the first week equals 6 nights, and all subsequent weeks consist of 7 nights. Extra nights can be reserved subject to availability and at an additional cost.

3.2 A payment of €200 is required to confirm the reservation. The remaining amount will be paid upon arrival, on the first day of classes. In the case of private apartments, a prepayment of one month’s accommodation is required to confirm the reservation, or full payment for stays of less than a month.

3.3 Arrival on Sunday no later than 11 pm. After 10 pm, a late check-in fee (€50) applies.

3.4 Check-out time is at 12 pm. A later check-out time can be arranged, subject to availability and additional charges. Please inquire about this.

3.5 A deposit of €60 will be required for stays in accommodations organized by 2Day Languages. The deposit must be paid on the first day at school.

The deposit is necessary to confirm the reservation in student residences.

The deposit must be paid on the first day at school by credit or debit card, transfer, or in cash. It will be refunded preferably in the same way within 7 days after departure, once the room has been properly inspected.

3.6 Please note that part or all of the deposit may be retained if:

– The student has caused any damage to the furniture or facilities.

– The student has not returned the keys.

– The room is not delivered clean and tidy.

3.7 The student will be charged for the replacement of any item broken by negligence or misuse. If there is damage and no one is directly responsible, the cost of repair will be shared among all accommodated students.

3.8 2Day Languages reserves the right to change students’ accommodations at any time.

  1. PAYMENT CONDITIONS

4.1 Prepayment is required to confirm a reservation. If a course and accommodation are booked, the prepayment is intended to cover the accommodation payment first.

4.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full on the first day of the course. Without full payment, 2Day Languages may cancel the program, and the student will not be entitled to a refund.

4.3 Students wishing to extend their stay with 2Day Languages need to have paid the total amount due by the Friday before the start of the new period of stay.

4.4 For more information on payment methods and details on bank fees, please visit the payment methods section of 2Day Languages.

4.5 The student’s name must be clearly indicated on all bank transfers.

4.6 Personal checks are not accepted. Bank checks will only be accepted if received at least 80 days before the student’s arrival and with an additional fee of €35.

  1. STUDENT VISA

5.1 The school can ONLY issue the Confirmation of Enrollment Letter once 100% of the total course and accommodation costs have been prepaid (depending on the student’s country of origin).

5.2 Once 2Day Languages has received the required initial payment, the invitation letter (enrollment certification) will be sent to the student by email (and post if requested). If the student wishes to receive the confirmation by post, they must pay the shipping cost in advance.

5.3 Students who have requested and have been issued invitation letters (enrollment certification), which can be used to obtain or renew a visa (NIE), must ensure they attend classes until the date indicated in the letter as these classes cannot be postponed to future periods under any circumstances.

5.4 No refunds will be issued to students who have requested and been issued an invitation letter (enrollment certification) that can be used for a visa or visa renewal (NIE), except in the case of visa or NIE denial. In such cases, all amounts paid will be refunded, except for €200 administrative charges. The refund will be made upon presentation of an official rejection letter from the Consulate or Immigration Office clearly indicating the student’s name, passport number, and type of visa/renewal requested (duly dated, signed, and stamped). Classes already taken will not be refunded.

  1. CHANGES

6.1 A €75 administrative fee will be charged for changes to already confirmed reservations, before or after arrival.

6.2 Course credits are non-transferable.

6.3 If there is an unexpected delay in receiving the students’ visas, the course will be postponed to the following Monday after the visa start date. The accommodation reservation date can only be postponed if two weeks’ prior notice is given. Otherwise, the student will be charged from the reserved date.

  1. DISCOUNTS AND CREDITS

7.1 Discounts cannot be accumulated or combined.

7.2 Discounts/promotional offers will only be applied if communicated to 2Day Languages before enrollment and cannot be applied retroactively.

7.3 Family and friends discount (applicable to two or more people): to enjoy a 10% discount, they must enroll and take the same course (although not necessarily in the same level and group). The names of the group members must be indicated on the enrollment application. Upon enrollment, 2Day Languages will automatically apply the 10% discount on the student’s invoice. The family and friends discount applies to courses of any duration and will not apply to course extensions. If these conditions are not met, the family and friends discount will not apply and may result in the issuance of modified invoices.

7.4 Class credits will be valid for 12 months from the course start date until expiration.

  1. COURSE REDUCTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

8.1 Cancellations before the start of the course will only be accepted if notified in writing to the email info@2daylanguages.com. Cancellations made by phone will not be considered valid.

8.2 For cancellations made more than two weeks before the start of the course (15 days or more), €100 of the prepayment will be retained.

8.3 For cancellations made during the two weeks before the start of the course (14 days or less), the entire prepayment will be retained.

8.4 Under no circumstances will course money be refunded once it has started (except in the case of having contracted the cancellation insurance).

8.5 In case of cancellation, the standard prices of 2Day Languages will apply. If, for example, when booking the course, the student received a discount due to its duration, this will be lost in case of cancellation.

8.6 To comply with Anti-Money Laundering Legislation, refunds and transfers can only be made to the person who booked/paid for the course.

8.7 Once the student has informed 2Day Languages that they will not be able to attend their private class, the teacher will be notified that the class will not take place at the stipulated time. Therefore, the class will be considered canceled according to the policy stipulated in clause 1.7.

8.8 The deadline for class cancellations is Wednesday at 12 noon. The entire week must be canceled; individual days cannot be canceled.

8.9 EXAMS: At the end of each level, a written and oral exam will be conducted to determine if the student is ready to advance to the next level. All group students take the exam at the same time. If for any reason a student cannot take this exam, they will not be able to advance with the group to the next level. If the student wants to take an exam at another time, they should discuss it with their teacher, who will evaluate it with Coordination. The school sets the date and time of the exam.

  1. ACCOMMODATION REDUCTIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

9.1 For cancellations made more than one month in advance of arrival, all prepayments will be refunded. For cancellations less than one month before arrival, the student will pay for any reservation made for the next 30 days.

9.2 In case of cancellation after arrival, a one-month notice is required. After this notice period is fulfilled, any additional payment will be refunded.

9.3 If a student decides to postpone or temporarily pause any of the programs, the accommodation cannot be cancelled under any circumstances.

  1. EXPULSION

10.1 2Day Languages reserves the right to cancel the student’s place if on the day of arrival the student or the agency has not paid the full amount of the course, accommodation, and other contracted services.

10.2 In case of disciplinary infraction, inappropriate behavior (such as disrespect towards the teacher, classmates, and other employees), or violation of Spanish law, the student will be expelled from the school and accommodation contracted with 2Day Languages without the right to a refund.

  1. INSURANCE

11.1 Medical: All students must ensure they have adequate coverage.

11.2 Civil Liability Insurance (student): required for students in accommodation organized by the school, and highly recommended for all students.

11.3 Civil Liability Insurance (company): 2Day Languages has an accident and civil liability insurance policy that covers minor incidents or accidents that may occur at the school.

11.4 Personal Property: 2Day Languages assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to property, whether at the school or in its accommodations.
